You can board a flight to Uzbekistan on a passport from Azerbaijan with no visa. The officer on arrival sets how long you may stay. Immigration will still want to see a return ticket, somewhere to stay, and enough money for the trip.
- Status
- Visa free
- Stay permitted
- Set by the officer on entry
- Government fee
- Nothing to pay
- Typical decision
- No application
There is nothing to apply for and nothing to pay.
Book your flight. Any site offering to sell you a Uzbekistan visa, permit or "travel authorisation" for this trip is selling you something you do not need.
If you are travelling on a different passport, Uzbekistan's official entry rules are at e-visa.gov.uz.
What Uzbekistan asks for
- Facial photo meeting ICAO Doc 9303
- Copy of the passport data page (no more than 500 KB)
- A Visa card to pay the consular fee
Worth knowing
- The $20 consular fee is not refunded if the e-visa is refused.
- If any detail on the e-visa differs from your passport, the e-visa is invalid. Enter your data exactly as it appears in the passport.
How long it takes
The decision is emailed to you. An approved e-visa arrives as a PDF.
