Check every figure against the government page

Rules change without notice, and the only authority on your application is the immigration service you are applying to. Every page here shows the date we last read the source, next to the figure it produced, and links to the exact government page it came from. Use those links before you book or pay for anything.

Where the data comes from

Requirement data — whether a passport needs a visa for a destination — derives from the Passport Index dataset (Arton Capital), MIT licensed.

Fees, processing times and document lists are read by hand from each government's own pages, and each carries the date it was read. Our mobility score is the eVisaChecker mobility score; it is not affiliated with, and will not always agree with, any commercial passport ranking, because the methods differ. Ours is published in full.

We are not affiliated with any government

eVisaChecker is an independent, privately operated website. It is not part of, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government, embassy, consulate, immigration service or international body. Where we link to an official portal, we do so because it is the right place for you to go — not because of any relationship with the authority that runs it.

We cannot decide your application

Only the immigration authority of the country you are travelling to can tell you whether you will be admitted. Meeting every requirement listed on this site does not guarantee a visa, and holding a valid visa does not guarantee entry — the officer at the border makes that decision.

Information can be out of date or wrong

Visa rules change without notice and sometimes overnight. We publish the date we last read each government source, next to the figure it produced, precisely so you can judge how fresh it is. Even so:

To the extent permitted by law, eVisaChecker accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on this site, including missed flights, refused applications, non-refundable bookings or fees paid. If that sounds like a large carve-out, it is: the only authority on your application is the immigration service handling it.

This is not legal or immigration advice

Nothing here is advice about your individual circumstances, and reading it creates no professional relationship of any kind. If your situation is complicated — a past refusal, a criminal record, an overstay, a claim to residency — speak to a regulated immigration adviser or lawyer in the relevant country.

Beware of services claiming to be us

We never ask for your passport number, application reference, documents or payment. We do not offer to speed up, track or guarantee an application. Any site or person doing those things in our name is not us.

Reporting an error

If a figure here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and republish with a new checked date. Accuracy reports are the most useful message we can receive.
