You can board a flight to Belize on a passport from Mauritius with no visa. The officer on arrival sets how long you may stay. Immigration will still want to see a return ticket, somewhere to stay, and enough money for the trip.
- Status
- Visa free
- Stay permitted
- Single entry visas are valid for 6 months. Multiple entry visas are valid for 12 months.
- Government fee
- Nothing to pay
- Typical decision
- No application
There is nothing to apply for and nothing to pay.
Book your flight. Any site offering to sell you a Belize visa, permit or "travel authorisation" for this trip is selling you something you do not need.
If you are travelling on a different passport, Belize's official entry rules are at immigration.gov.bz.
What Belize asks for
- Completed application form, signed consistently with your passport signature
- Passport valid for more than 6 months
- Flight itinerary showing your arrival in Belize and your return
- If sponsored, a Letter of Financial Support signed before a Justice of the Peace, the sponsor's ID and proof of kinship
- Employment letter and bank financials

Worth knowing
- The visa fees on the Belize immigration site do not apply to US permanent residents or holders of a US visitor visa.
