Tuvalu passport Rwanda

Do Tuvaluans need a visa for Rwanda?

You need an eVisa.

eVisa

eVisa (electronic visa). A real visa application, made online instead of at an embassy. It is assessed, it takes days rather than minutes, and it can be refused.

You apply online before you travel and are approved before you fly. There is no embassy appointment and no interview — you fill in a form on the government's own site, pay the government's fee, and carry the approval with you.

Apply on the official Rwanda government site

This is the government's own portal. We are not paid to send you there, and there is no service in between.

Worth knowing

  • Rwanda has authorised no agent to apply for a visa on your behalf. Agents may charge more than the official fee.

How long it takes

Citizens of all countries can get a visa on arrival without applying first. You can also apply online on Irembo or at a Rwandan mission before you leave, and pay online or on arrival.
