You can board a flight to Türkiye on a passport from Romania with no visa. You may stay up to 90 days per visit. Immigration will still want to see a return ticket, somewhere to stay, and enough money for the trip.
- Status
- Visa free
- Stay permitted
- 90 days
- Government fee
- Nothing to pay
- Typical decision
- No application
There is nothing to apply for and nothing to pay.
Book your flight. Any site offering to sell you a Türkiye visa, permit or "travel authorisation" for this trip is selling you something you do not need.
If you are travelling on a different passport, Türkiye's official entry rules are at evisa.gov.tr.
What Türkiye asks for
- Passport valid for at least six months from arrival
Worth knowing
- evisa.gov.tr is the only official e-Visa site. Other sites selling a Türkiye e-Visa apply on the same site and charge more than twice the official fee.
- The e-Visa is for tourism or business only. Work and study need a visa from a Turkish embassy or consulate.
How long it takes
Apply online at evisa.gov.tr. The fee depends on your nationality and is shown when you start the application.
