Australia does not currently admit travellers holding a Somalia passport. This is a government policy, not a paperwork problem, and no agent or service can work around it.

- Changing planes: a passport from Somalia needs a visa even to stay airside in United Kingdom and Schengen area airports, unless you hold an exempting document. Transit rules legislation.gov.uk · read eur-lex.europa.eu · read
What Australia asks for
- Passport
- Evidence of funds to cover your stay
- Evidence that you intend to leave Australia, such as employment or study ties
- A statement explaining the purpose of your visit
- Health insurance, where the officer asks for it
Worth knowing
- Australia grants visas electronically. There is no sticker in your passport, and no legitimate service charges to 'print' or 'activate' one.
- From 1 July 2026 a lower visa cost applies in limited concession cases. The concession is granted by Home Affairs, not by an agent.
How long it takes
Australia publishes a separate processing time guide per visa stream rather than a single figure.
